The World Figure Skating Championships is an annual figure skating competition sanctioned by the International Skating Union in which figure skaters compete for the title of World Champion.
The 1908 men and ladies competitions were held on January 25–26 in Troppau, Austria-Hungary (modern-day Opava, Czech Republic). The 1908 pairs competition took place on February 16 in Saint Petersburg, Russian Empire. It was the first World Championships in which pair skating was contested.
