The 1951 Kent State Golden Flashes football team was an American football team that represented Kent State University in the Mid-American Conference (MAC) during the 1951 college football season. In their sixth season under head coach Trevor J. Rees, the Golden Flashes compiled a 4–3–2 record (2–1 against MAC opponents), finished in third place in the MAC, and outscored all opponents by a combined total of 241 to 162.[1][2]
The team's statistical leaders included Jack Mancos with 778 rushing yards, Nick Dellerba with 991 yards of total offense, and Bob Scott with 154 receiving yards.[3]
