Events
There were a lot of things that happened in 1970 in South Korea. It just got over a major war with the north only 15 years ago. Right now in 1970 South Korea is still a developing country mostly made up of rice farmers. It was harder back then for them to develop because they are isolated on a peninsula next to one of the most dangerous country's in the world. Because of the hard times a lot of people left Korea to new promises like America or Europe.
