The 1989 SANFL Grand Final was an Australian rules football competition. Port Adelaide beat North Adelaide by 108 to 14.[1]
This game was most notable for a press conference during which the North Adelaide coach Michael Nunan made the prophetic quote "We have one goal in mind.".
Played in blustery conditions the normally precise North could not hit the mark with their passes and were dominated at ground level by a well coached Port Adelaide.
