The 1997 Nations Cup was the Nations Cup Grand Prix competition of the 1997–1998 figure skating season. It was the second event of six in the 1997–1998 ISU Champions Series, a senior-level international invitational competition series. Skaters earned points towards qualifying for the 1997–1998 Champions Series Final. Medals were awarded in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dancing.
In 1997, the Nations Cup was held in Gelsenkirchen, Germany from 30 October to 2 November.
