The Women's 25K race at the 2008 FINA World Open Water Swimming Championships was swum on Thursday, May 8, 2008 in Seville, Spain. It was the sixth and final of the 2008 Open Water Worlds.
The 5-6 hour race began at 9:15 a.m., 15 minutes after the start of the Men's 25K race. The race was swum in the Guadalquivir River in the city center. 17 women swam the event.[1]
The race was held on a 5-kilometer course, which the swimmers looped through five times to reach the 25-kilometer distance of the race.[2]
