The 2009 Rostelecom Cup was the Cup of Russia Grand Prix competition of the 2009–10 figure skating season. It was the second event of six in the 2009–10 ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating, a senior-level international invitational competition series. Skaters earned points towards qualifying for the 2009–10 Grand Prix Final. The event was organized by the Figure Skating Federation of Russia. Medals were awarded in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies singles, pair skating, and ice dancing.
The event was renamed the Rostelecom Cup in 2009 after Rostelecom, the sponsor of Russian Figure Skating Federation.[1] It was held in Moscow from 22 through 25 October. The compulsory dance was the Tango Romantica.
