The 2017 Daytona 500, the 59th running of the event, will be a NASCAR Cup Series race held on February 26, 2017, Contested over 200 laps, on the 2.5-mile (4.0 km) asphalt superspeedway, It will be the first race of the 2017 NASCAR Cup Series season.
The Daytona 500 will be carried on Fox Sports for the American television audience. The radio broadcast for the race will be carried by the Motor Racing Network and Sirius XM NASCAR Radio.

Daytona International Speedway is a race track in Daytona Beach, Florida, that is one of six superspeedways, the others being Auto Club Speedway, Pocono Raceway, Indianapolis Motor Speedway, and Talladega Superspeedway.[5] The standard track itself is 2.5 miles (4.0 km) long.
Qualifying
Qualifying for the front row will begin on February 19, 2017.
