The 5th Annual Critics' Choice Television Awards, presented by the Broadcast Television Journalists Association (BTJA), honoring the best in primetime television programming from June 1, 2014, until May 31, 2015, took place on May 31, 2015, at The Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles, California.[1] The ceremony was broadcast live on A&E.[1][2]
The nominations were announced on May 6, 2015. Channelwise, HBO received 27 total nominations and FX received 16.[1] On May 13, 2015, Cat Deeley was announced as host, marking her second time hosting since the inaugural ceremony.[3] Seth MacFarlane received the Critics’ Choice Louis XIII Genius Award.[4]
