A'rese
Agharese Emokpae (born in 1988) popularly known as A'rese is a Nigerian singer. She won the first season of The Voice Nigeria as part of Team Waje.[1]
A'rese has been performing in musical theatre ever since she graduated from Washington and Lee University in 2010. She has starred in various musicals and theatre productions in both Nigeria and the United States.[1][2]
She auditioned to the inaugural season of The Voice Nigeria singing "Skyfall" turning chairs by three of the four judges. She chose to be part of Team Waje. In the grand final, she faced Chike from Team Patoranking. A'rese sang "Hallelujah" finishing as winner with Chike ending up as runner-up.
