AKA the Rugged Child is the debut album of American rapper Shyheim. it was released on April 19, 1994, by Virgin/EMI Records. A Wu-Tang Clan affiliate, he was 14 years old when the album was released. The album was released on the same day as Nas' debut album Illmatic.
