AN/PVS-22

The AN/PVS-22 or Universal Night Sight is a Picatinny rail mounted in-line night sight designed and manufactured by FLIR Systems and Knight Armament Company and issued with the existing telescopic sight or red dot sight.[1] It can be added to any weapon that uses a Picatinny rail and has an existing scope, simply mounting in front of the existing scope to grant it night vision capability.[2] It utilizes a third generation image intensifier tube, which is not available outside of the USA.[3]
