Metalul Reșița is a Romanian professional football club from Snagov, Ilfov County founded in 2010.
They currently play in the Liga II.
History
The club was founded in 2010 in Măciuca as Damila Măciuca.[1]
It promoted in just two years from the Liga IV to the Liga II.
In the summer of 2013 it was moved to Reșiţa and the name of the club was changed to CSM Metalul Reșița. Not to be confused with CSM Școlar Reșiţa, also named Metalul Reșița in the past.
In the summer of 2016 it was moved from Reșiţa to Snagov and took all the players and the staff of Voinţa Snagov which was dissolved.[2]
