A Forest of Arms is the sixth studio album by Canadian folk rock band Great Lake Swimmers, slated for release April 21, 2015 on Nettwerk.[1]
The album was recorded in a variety of locations, including the Tyendinaga Caves in Ontario's Hastings County.[1] The songs were inspired in part by bandleader and songwriter Tony Dekker's experiences working with the World Wildlife Fund on environmental projects.[1]
Guest musicians on the album include Kevin Kane of The Grapes of Wrath.[1]
The track "Zero in the City" was released in February as a streaming preview.[2]
