Aaron G. Frenkel (born September 9, 1957 in Israel) is an international businessman and investor.

Biography

Aaron Frenkel was born in 1957 in Bnei Brak to Haim Yosef and Fruma Frenkel, the youngest of three brothers. Frenkel was educated in Israel. He is married to Maja Ruth Frenkel, an economist who has held the positions of Deputy Minister of Economy in the Croatian government. They have five children.

Business

Since the 1980s, Aaron Frenkel has been the owner of Loyd's Group of Companies, which deals with investments in the domains of property and real estate,[1] civil aviation and aerospace industries, energy and hi-tech.[2] The group was formed as part of the efforts to develop the economies of central and eastern Europe. The development was concentrated at the time on sharing technology, equipment, knowhow and capital from international companies in western countries interested, in contributing to their development and economic flourishing of the aforementioned countries.

As a representative of the main civil aviation industries in Central & Eastern Europe (Boeing, Airbus, Gulfstream, Agusta), Frenkel established the Loyd’s Group, aiming to bring western aviation products, advanced technology and equipment to these eastern countries. The company is estimated to be involved in investments of over 35 billion dollars In the last 25 years. The Group is involved in all stages of property development, starting from designing and planning to implementation and management.
