Abbas Rahim (1 January 1979 – 10 August 2012) was an Iraqi football Midfielder who played for Iraq in the 2000 Asian Cup and Al-Shorta and Al-Zawraa. Abbas is in the Al Shorta Hall of Fame.[1]

Death
On 10 August 2012, Rahim was killed in a car crash on the road from Baghdad to Najaf. He was 35 years old.[2]
