Abu Bakr Mirza - was self-declared Shah of Shirvan after downfall of Kavus Mirza.
Early life
He was member Shirvanshahs, he was son of Burhan Ali [1] In 1550 he was taken to Dagestan by loyal noblemen. He lived in Dagestan for 20 years, then passed to Crimean khanate in 1570. He was married to daughter of Devlet I Giray there. He invaded Shirvan from Ottoman Empire in 1578 along with Murad III. He ruled Shirvan as vassal of Murad III until his death in 1602 according to Sara Ashurbeyli. But Abbasgulu Bakikhanov states that he wished to rule Shirvan as vassal of Safavids therefore sent his son Burhan Ali Mirza to court of shah, but failed to be successful in his rebellion. His whereabouts are not known. After him, no pretenders rebelled any more.
