Adrian Bustamante (born September 8, 1981) started his career as an actor in 2008 and got a break in "Trauma", a short lived show on NBC. Thereafter, Adrian has been working for television, films, and commercials.[1] He is a versatile actor from Los Angeles who has co-starred in films like “Hansel & Gretel” and with regards to TV, he is well known for his roles in “The Bold and the Beautiful,” “The Young and the Restless” and “Nathan for You.”
Early life
Adrian was born on September 8, 1981, in Fremont, California was the first child of Raul and Marie. Adrian's family had moved to Antioch, California where he graduated. When he was young, his parents got divorced but remained strong supporters throughout his life.[2] Adrian took multiple acting classes through community colleges but nine years passed before he actively pursued his passion for acting as a profession.[2]
Career
After a long span of time in real estate, Adrian decided to make his career full-time in acting. Hence, he started his acting in San Francisco, California and got his first break as a major role in "Trauma" on the NBC Network Drama. He was working on various commercials whilst working on Trauma.[2] He also worked in "The Young and the Restless" [1] on CBS day-time soap. Nevertheless, he then worked for major networks on television like "Nathan for You", "The Bold and the Beautiful", "Dexter" [1] and various others.[2] Over the last few years, Adrian is doing films as well which have been ventured by his time spent on Television. Though his first love is for TV but not as strong as for film. Adrian has been well known due to his work on multiple films among which "My Night with Andrew Cunanan" is close to him as it has been screened for over 20 film festivals all over the world and very successful on the film festival circuit. This film will be screened more at the end of 2013.[2]
Adrian worked in "Red Tails" directed by the George Lucas, "Hansel and Gretel" - horror film "Social Nightmare" and "Sharknado" pop-culture phenom.[2]
Projects
The most recent upcoming project of Adrian is "I Almost Got Away with It", directed by Ted Leonard. Adrian is playing the lead role as a William Van Poyck, a lifelong criminal, who cannot stay out of jail, with other co-stars like Nathan Doughty and Patrick Engler, etc.
TV Series
Don't Trust the B--- in apartment 23, which was first aired on April 11, 2012 by ABC Network.[3] Adrian played a role of shocked busboy with one of the stars on this show, named Krysten Ritter. This episode was the sixth session of this season.[4] As per Adrian, every role which he played for TV series comes up with a new level of excitement and accomplishment. Trauma was the big TV series which has created a soft spot in his heart about television.[5] In "Chasing Life", Adrian has been selected to play a role of journalist, named Matt Fritz. It will be directed by Steve Miner and produced by Susana Fogel, Aaron Kaplan and Joni Leftkowitz.
Films
Adrian played a role of college student in a Bollywood movie "My name is Khan" where he got the opportunity to see the culture of shooting films by Bollywood.[5] A short, funny and exciting film, named "My Politics, My Country", in which Adrian played a character of slacker who had to find the way for bank robbery or to kidnap his own father who was a bank manager.[5] Adrian has played a small part in "The Banshee Chapter", a horror film, written and directed by Blair Erickson. In 2014, Adrian was featured in the documentary 'How Embarrassing', about outrageous underground comedian "J.J. Star".[2]
Interviews
In an interview with The Arts and Entertainment Magazine,[5] Adrian highlighted that it is true that he has not taken formal training for acting but he always tried to get better in his acting through self-teaching and watching videos online.[5] Adrian has appeared in many commercials for major companies like Chase Bank, Nissan, Sea World, Sprite, Vehix and many more.[5][6]

In NYCastings, an article written by Kelly Calabrese about Audition Blunders, where various actors shared their vulnerable moments and their learning out of the same. Adrian emphasized that what he learned in auditions is, that an actor would be an immediate turn off if he comes with a lack of confidence therefore an actor should go in for auditions as comfortable and as confident as possible.[5]

Adrian has been interviewed in The Josie Show on June 1, 2012.[7] He has also been interviewed by Katie in KATIE CHATS about his upcoming projects including Mr. Pink, Dark Harvest (upcoming film) and My Politics, My Country the Movie Adrian interviewed by Katie on YouTube Adrian Bustamante was welcomed by the host Cyrus Webb to Conversations LIVE in order to discuss Adrian's journey in the entertainment history and to know about the types of project he should be looking for in the time to come.[8] He joined the Divas for Cocktails to chat about his new role in "Don't Trust B--- in Apartment 23" and the show itself and to know about other projects he is working on.[9]
Future Venues
Currently Adrian is preparing for the start of a new season of "The Dispensable Bliss" and preparing to shoot two pilots in which he will be the host of. to be the best actor and once he feels himself more stable in his acting career then might be he will go for either production or direction.[5]
