Aerochile was a short-lived Chilean airline. It was founded and disestablished in 1996
History
Aerochile was founded in January,1996. It gave air services in a round route from Arica to Santiago. However, in April of that year, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation of Chile, suspended its permission to operate services because of debts by way of aeronautical charges. AeroChile finally suspended operations that same month shortly before it attempted to be sold to National Airlines for US$4 million. Its only aircraft, a Boeing 737-222, was transferred to National's fleet.[1][2]
