Aerostar Bacău is a Romanian professional football club from Bacău, Bacău County, Romania, founded in 1977 as Aripile Victoria Bacău.
History
The club is named after Aerostar SA, a local aeronautics company and the sponsor of the team.
The team's best performance was 8th place in the Divizia B, in the 1989–90 season.
The club is best known for producing the Manchester City goalkeeper, and Premier League winner, Costel Pantilimon
