Agrostis pallens is a species of grass known by the common name seashore bent grass. It is native to western North America from British Columbia to Montana to California, where it grows in many types of habitat.
Description
Agrostis pallens is a perennial bunchgrass growing 10 to 70 centimeters in height, sometimes from a rhizome. The leaves vary in width and length but are generally not more than 5 centimeters long. The inflorescence is a narrow array of thin branches bearing small clusters of spikelets, each spikelet being just a few millimeters long.
