Ailoche is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Biella in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 70 kilometres (43 mi) northeast of Turin and about 14 kilometres (9 mi) northwest of Biella. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 321 and an area of 10.3 square kilometres (4.0 sq mi).[1]
The municipality of Ailoche contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Ailoche, Giunchio, Peiro, Ponte Strona, Piasca, and Venarolo.
Ailoche borders the following municipalities: Caprile, Coggiola, Crevacuore, Guardabosone, Postua. Of note is the Santuario della Brugarola.
