Alderman Peel High School is a secondary school located in Wells-next-the-Sea, Norfolk, England. In 2009 its overall effectiveness was rated as 'Outstanding' by Ofsted. More recently, in 2012 the school was rated 'Good' by Ofsted.[1] Its head teacher was Cheryl Crawford, who was head until 1999, when John Platten took over. He then left to go to another school, so his deputy, Nigel Youngman, temporarily took his place. He left as well, so a new head, Alastair Ogle, was appointed for the start of the academic year in September 2010.
