Alexander L. Halkett (born c.1882 – 21 February 1917) was a Scottish professional football right half who played for Dundee, Aberdeen and St Johnstone.
Halkett left Dundee for Aberdeen in 1904. He was appointed captain in 1907. After leaving Aberdeen in 1909, he joined St Johnstone.
After retiring from playing, Halkett enlisted as a gunner in the Royal Field Artillery "C" Battalion, 87th Brigade. It was while serving in the First World War that he was killed in 1917 aged 35.[1]
