Alex Mendur (1907 – 1984) was an Indonesian photographer who took the iconic photograph of Bung Tomo. In 1946, he established the Indonesian Press Photo Service (IPPHOS) with his brother, Frans Mendur, Oscar Ganda, Alex Mamusung, Frans Umbas, and Justus Umbas.
