Alifakı is a village in Tarsus district of Mersin Province, Turkey. At 36°53′N 35°00′E / 36.883°N 35.000°E it is situated in Çukurova (Cilicia of the antiquity) plains to the southeast of Tarsus. The distance to Tarsus is 13 kilometres (8.1 mi) and the distance to Mersin is 38 kilometres (24 mi).[1] The population of Alifakı is 972 [2] as of 2011.
