All Around the World (also known as AATW) is a record label from Blackburn, United Kingdom. The label specialises in dance music. It is a subsidiary of Universal and has had success over the years with artists such as Dannii Minogue, Cascada, Scooter, Ultrabeat, N-Trance, N-Dubz, Tulisa, Dappy and more recently Yolanda Be Cool, Lost Frequencies, Armin van Buuren and many more. The label also runs 4 music TV channels; Clubland TV, Channel AKA, Chilled TV and Now Music.
History
AATW was founded by directors Matt Cadman and Cris Nutall in 1991.
The label also releases the long-standing Clubland compilation album series, as well as various others released in association with UMTV. Other compilation albums include Ultimate Club Anthems, Love2Club, 100% Chilled, Ultimate NRG, Dance Mania, Clubland Hardcore & X-Treme series.
In March 2008 AATW organised a series of Clubland arena events, followed by a second tour, Clubland Live 2, taking place in December 2008, a third in early 2010 and a fourth planned for 2011.[1] The label have recently signed UK singer Jamelia.
Television channels
On 28 January 2008, All Around The World launched their own TV Station, Clubland TV the channel features many of their signed artists and is devoted to dance music.
Due to the success of their TV channel Clubland TV, All Around The World then launched another new music channel titled WTF on 23 November 2010.. On 15 August 2011, WTF was rebranded as Massive R&B, then to Planet Pop on 27 March 2013, and as Chilled TV on 9 September 2015.
In May 2012, All Around the World Productions purchased Channel AKA,[2] before previous owners Mushroom TV entered liquidation.[3] AATW also runs Greatest Hits TV, which was rebranded as Summer Hits on 21 June 2013.
