Alvin Leroy Scott (born September 14, 1955) is an American basketball player for the Phoenix Suns (from 1977 to 1985). Born in Cleveland, Tennessee, he attended Oral Roberts University.
The nickname "T-Bone" was because he could always be counted on to come into the game and provide some backbone for the team. His persistence and work ethic, despite being drafted in the 7th Round in 1977, made him a member of the Phoenix Suns for eight years.
