The American Youth In Politics (AYIP) is a nonpartisan 501(c)(3) non-profit organization focused on educating young people from the ages of 12-18 about important current issues, candidates running for office, and the political process.[1] Founded in October 2015,[2] it has served to further promote its cause, and has gained attention from some national media outlets such as The Daily Ledger. AYIP has expanded to 18 states including Arizona, Texas, Illinois, Maryland and has recruited over 700 members, making it one of the fastest growing teenage student-run organizations in the country.[3]
