Amit Kapoor
Amit Kapoor is a Bollywood film producer and a member of a family involved in the Bollywood film industry.
Biography
Kapoor's parents, Lalit and Shabnam Kapoor, have produced a number of films like Boxer, Pyaar Ka Mandir, Pyaar Ka Devta, Insaaf Ki Devi, Deewana, Elaan, Hulchul, Chori Chori, Tu Chor Main Sipahi.
Kapoor executed the production of films like Chehraa and Oh My God. He started his production house, Cynozure Networks, and co-produced One by Two, starring Abhay Deol and the soon to be released Main aur Charles starring Randeep Hooda and Richa Chadda (directed by Prawaal Raman). He further diversified the family business by venturing into distribution and marketing for various banners. He also associated himself with Wave Cinemas, a distribution house, as a consultant and director and has distributed several films.
Kapoor married actress Aamna Sharif in December 2013.[1]
Amit has been honored by Sandeep Marwah with the life membership of International Film And Television Club of Asian Academy of Film & Television at Noida Film City.
