Amr Sobhy (Arabic: عمرو صبحي ‎‎) is an award winning Egyptian information activist,^[1] social entrepreneur,^[2] published author and poet.^[3][4] He is best known as co-creator of MorsiMeter;^[5][6] a digital initiative and online platform to document and monitor the performance of Egyptian President, Mohamed Morsi, which has attracted a wide global attention.^{[7][8][9][10][11]} The initiative modeled after Obameter is considered to be the first^[12] in Egypt and the Middle East to hold a president accountable for his promises.
