Andrew Belle (born August 26, 1984), is an American singer-songwriter. Belle is originally from Chicago, Illinois. He moved to Nashville in 2009, and he currently resides in Los Angeles with his wife.
Career
Belle began his musical career at the age of 22, shortly after returning home from college. In 2007, he launched his solo career in Chicago, performing at various local venues including SPACE and Schubas Tavern.[1]
2010: In My Veins EP (Featuring Erin McCarley)
His Song "In My Veins" was featured in Season 6, Episode 24 "Death and All His Friends" of Grey's Anatomy and in Season 4, Episode 23 "Always", Season 6, Episode 15 "Smells Like Teen Spirit" Season 7, Episode 6 "The Time of Our Lives" of Castle and Season 3, Episode 12 of Pretty Little Liars and season 2 episode 8 of The Vampire Diaries
2010–12: The Ladder and The Daylight EP
His song "Sky's Still Blue" was featured in a Microsoft commercial/documentary promoting the Windows 7, Windows Live and Windows Phone 7 ecosystem. It was made available as a free download from Microsoft.
2013–2015: Black Bear
According to Belle, the songs are autobiographical and themes range from wrestling with God to restoration of personal relationships.[2] The album consists of folk songs with influences from M83, Beach House and Washed Out, he said: "I didn’t want to be stuck in that niche of being just an acoustic singer-songwriter, [...] I wanted to make music like they were making."[3] Black Bear was released in August 20, 2013 and was produced in Norman, OK by Chad Copelin.[3] Andrew stated in an interview with USA Today that he wrote the song 'Pieces' (the first single on Black Bear) for his wife not too long after they got married in Chicago in 2012.[4]
2016-: Untitled new album
In August 2016, Belle released Dive Deep as the lead single from his upcoming third album.[5] On October 28 of the same year, the album's second single, You was released. On November 15 Andrew Belle announces the release of another track, (Christmas Original Song) called: "Back For Christmas" output Friday, November 19
