The Canadian Giant (Andropolia contacta) is a moth in the Noctuidae family. It is found from Alaska to Newfoundland, south to New England, New York, Colorado, and southern British Columbia. It has also been recorded from California.
The wingspan is about 44 mm. Adults are on wing from July to August.
The larvae feed on Alnus, Betula, Salix and Populus tremuloides.
