Andrew "Andy" Alleman (born November 20, 1983) is a former American football guard. He was drafted by the New Orleans Saints in the third round of the 2007 NFL Draft. He played college football at Akron.
Alleman was also a member of the Miami Dolphins, Kansas City Chiefs and Indianapolis Colts.
Early years
Alleman played high school football at Massillon Washington High School in Massillon, Ohio.[1]
College career
Alleman played college football at Akron after transferring from Pittsburgh where he played on the defensive line for two seasons.[1]

New Orleans Saints
Alleman was inactive for 15 games as a rookie with New Orleans. He dressed but did not play in one game. The Saints waived him during final cuts on August 30, 2008.
Miami Dolphins
Less than 24 hours after being let go from the Saints, Alleman was claimed off waivers by the Miami Dolphins. Six other teams put in waiver claims for him, including Arizona Cardinals, Denver Broncos, Indianapolis Colts, Kansas City Chiefs, New England Patriots and New York Jets.[3][4]
Kansas City Chiefs
Alleman was acquired by the Kansas City Chiefs on August 24, 2009 along with offensive lineman Ikechuku Ndukwe.
Indianapolis Colts
Alleman was signed as an unrestricted free agent by Indianapolis on March 11, 2010.[5] He was waived by the team on August 9, 2010.[6]
