Anime on Demand is a British/French website devoted to the streaming of anime legally in the United Kingdom and Ireland.[2][3] Founded in April 2011, the website is a project between the French anime distributor Kazé SAS and several British and French anime distributors, including Manga Entertainment, Beez Entertainment and MVM Films.[4][5] Initially hosted by Anime News Network, Version 1.0 of the site, hosted by Viz Media Europe, launched as an open beta in December 2011.[6] In December 2013 it announced its closing and its incorporation to Animax UK.[7]
