Annapurni Subramaniam is a scientist at the Indian Institute of Astrophysics, Bangalore and works on areas like star clusters, stellar evolution and population in galaxies and Magellanic clouds.[1][2]
Education
Annapurni finished her schooling from Victoria College, Palakkad, in science.[1] She did her Ph. D on the topic "Studies of star clusters and stellar evolution" from Indian Institute of Astrophysics in 1996.[2][3]
Career
Annapurni was a Research Fellow at the Indian Institute of Astrophysics from 1990-96. She then became a Post Doctoral Fellow in 1998 at the institute and currently serves as Scientist.[2] She is an active member of the International Astronomical Union. [4]
