Anton Edelmann

Anton Edelmann (born 1952) is a chef, cookery writer, and television cook, who was maître chef des cuisines at the Savoy Hotel in London, England, from 1982 to 2003.[1] He now runs his own restaurant, Anton's, in Hertfordshire.[1] He has also worked at The Dorchester (under Anton Mosimann), Grosvenor House Hotel and the Allium restaurant, all in London.[1]

Edelmann was born in Germany[1] in 1952 and worked as an apprentice chef in a village near Munich.[2]

He appeared as a "castaway" on the BBC Radio programme Desert Island Discs on 18 April 1993.[3]

He has an English wife.[4]
