Antony Cheng (born December 29, 1997) is a Canadian International figure skater.[1]
He is the 2015 Canadian Figure Skating Championships Junior men Canadian National Silver Medalist and Coupe du Printemps Luxembourg 2016, Junior men champion.[1]

Antony Cheng was born on December 29, 1997 in Vancouver, British Columbia and grew up in Toronto, Ontario.[1]
Figure Skater
Antony has been skating for 12 years and represents Canada internationally. He is a 3 Time Canadian National Championship medalist and the 2016 ISU Coupe du Printemps Junior men Champion. He is best known for his performance, choreography, musicality and engaging step sequences.[1][2][3]

Dancer
Antony has formal training in dance throughout his years as a competitive figure skater. His wide-ranging experience includes ballet, hip hop, contemporary, jazz as well as extensive strength and conditioning for more than 6 years.
Antony has a YouTube dance channel (with 20,000 total views currently) where he performs his dance routines.[5]
Visual Artist
Antony is an amateur visual artist.
He is an official member of Iglobalphotographers since 2015 where he has opportunities to collaborate with artists from around the world and feature rising talent.[6][7][8]
Antony's style of photography is simple, timeless, creative, and offers a different perspective for viewers of just the day to day surroundings in both urban and nature. Here are some of his works.

Work / Education
Antony is Skate Canada NCCP Canskate coach certified, with first aid/CPR certification and has been coaching in Canada since 2016.
Cheng graduated from Bayview Secondary School in Richmond Hill, Ontario.
Skating career
Antony Cheng began skating by playing hockey at the age seven (2005) and later switched to figure skating when he was eight in Toronto, Ontario. He has trained at the Richmond Training Center with former coach Ken Rose, then at the York Region skating academy and the Thornhill figure skating club with coach Katerina Papafotiou representing Central Ontario where he won almost all of the provincial sectional titles from Pre-juvenile to senior, 2 Ontario Winter Games titles and had the opportunity to compete at the 2011 Canada Winter Games in Halifax.[9][10] Antony also trained at Champs International skating club of BC with coaches Joanne McLeod and Neil Wilson in Vancouver, British Columbia during the summers, since 2010.
In 2012, Antony claimed the Pre-Novice Canadian Championship title, the following year he won the bronze medal at the Novice Canadian Championships, and in 2015, was the Junior men Canadian National Silver medalist.[1][2][3]
Antony made his international debut representing Canada in 2015 where he finished 13th at the Junior Grand Prix in USA and won his first international ISU gold medal at the Coupe Du Printemps, Luxembourg 2016 in Junior.[2][11]
In 2015, Antony also made his senior debut in Canada.[3]
In the summer of 2016, Antony moved to Champs International and switched to skate out of BC/YK and finished 3rd at the BC/YK Sectional Championships.[4]
Aside from competitions, Antony has had opportunities to perform as a guest skater in many ice shows for different skating clubs, sections and competition gala events throughout all of his competitive seasons.[5]
Cheng has also missed a couple international assignments in 2013 (Mladost Trophy, Croatia) and 2015 (Skate Canada Autumn Classic) due to ankle injuries and stress fractures.[12]
