Ark International School (ARKIS) is an English Medium School with International facilities located at Begusarai, Bihar, India. The school is established, owned and run by the Jesus Educational and Social Upliftment Society (a registered society under the Societies Registration Act 21, 1860 Reg No.147). This school is a self-funded, non-profit institution established to provide a quality education in English to all students, irrespective of caste, creed, religion or language.
Facilities on the campus include Smart interactive boards in all classrooms, computer classes and labs provided by NIIT, language labs, Google classrooms powered by Google India, Chromebooks by Google upon request, and Continuous Assessments Tests conducted six times to track student achievement.
Curriculum
Students choose between the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) and the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). The following subjects are offered: Math, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Education, Indian History, Civics, Geography, Computer Science, English and Indian languages, Sanskrit and Hindi.
Co-curricular activities
Activities like drawing and painting, essay writing, elocution, debate, quiz, sports, music and drama are part of the curriculum. Children participate in co-curricular activities and sports such as volleyball, badminton, cricket and football.
