Highway 296 (AR 296, Ark. 296, and Hwy. 296) is a mostly east–west highway in southwestern Arkansas.
Highway 296 just east of the junction with Highway 245 in Texarkana
The first segment begins at U.S. Route 71 (US 71) and US 59 at Texarkana. It travels east approximately three miles (4.8 km) ending at US 67 northeast of Texarkana.
The second segment begins at AR 237 at Texarkana and travels east to Harvey before turning southward for eight miles (13 km), ending at US 82 four miles (6.4 km) northwest of Garland.
