Arroyo Elementary School is a school that is part of the Tustin Unified School District, California, USA. It serves grades Kindergarten through fifth grade. Its sports teams are known as the Mustangs.

It was originally built in 1965 with expansion in later years.[3]

Awards and recognition

For the 1989-1990 school year, and the 2007-2008 school year, Arroyo Elementary School was recognized with the Blue Ribbon Award from the United States Department of Education,[4][5] the highest honor that an American school can achieve.[6]

Arroyo Elementary School was designated as a California Distinguished School for the 2006 school year, awarded by the California State Board of Education to public schools that best represent exemplary and quality educational programs.[7]
