Artem Lobuzov (Russian: Артём Юрьевич Лобузов, born 24 January 1991) is a Russian swimmer who compete freestyle and butterfly events. He represented Russian federation in Olympic Games. Lobuzov has his lifetime personal's best of 1:47.53 in swimming.
Swimming career
2011 FINA World Cup
At FINA World Cup in 2011 at Moscow competition, Lobuzov competed at short course and sets his lifetime personal bests include three events. On 18 October 2011, Lobuzov raced Men's Open 100m Freestyle. He logs his best at 49.17 seconds[1] splitting on 25.21.[2] Although, he placed at ranked 9 that is where he opposed Nikita Lobintsev that placed first and Michel Phelps who partially at ranked 11. Nevertheless, Lobuzov stated he firstly satisfied at the result in which he beat Phelps whose clocked at 49:30 seconds.
Also, Lobuzov contest at Men's Open 400m Freestyle where he performs his best that clocked 3:54:21[3] split at 28:38 seconds. He concludes at rank 13 and opposed his countrymen including Nikita Lobintsev who leads the fastest competitor on the events.
In Men's open 200m Freestyle in 19 of October 2011, Lobuzov set on finals that clocked 1:46:69[4] with splitting time of 27.01, he had FINA point score of 808. He placed at rank 6 with 8 oppositions including Phelps at second.
2012 Summer Olympics
At the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, Lobuzov competed in 200 meters Freestyles and Men's 4 × 200 m Freestyle Relay.
On 29 July 2012, Lobuzov race in 200 meters Freestyles where he opposed 40 countries in swimming. He contest at Heat 6 with 8 opposition includes Brett Fraser (Cayman Island), Matthew Stanley (New Zealand), Thomas Fraser-Holmes (Australia), Sebastiaan Verschuren (Netherlands), Park Tae-Hwan (South Korea) and Yannick Agnel (France). Lobuzov ranked 6 at the heat that clocked 1:47.91 with difference at +1.31. However, at the result, he made ranked 15 wherein he qualifies on the semi-finals. Subsequently, at the first semi-final race, Lobuzov vows at rank 8 on heat 2 and ranked 16 on the semi-final that clocked 1:48.26.[5] He then did not qualify to the finals.
On 31 July 2012, Lobuzov swims in Men's 4 × 200 m Freestyle Relay with Evgeny Lagunov, Mikhail Polishchuk and Alexander Sukhorukov. They raced that clocked 7:11.86 with difference at +5.11 on heat 2 at ranked 5 and ranked 10 over 15 opposed countries.[6] However, the team Russian was not qualified to the semi-finals. Lobuzov clocked 1:48.30 at his swim on the relay where he race at first to compete. Alexander Sukhorukov was leaded on their group that clocked 1:47.34, Lobuzov then was at rank 3. On relay trials, Lobuzov had given reaction time at 0.70 seconds, he rank 3 at his 50 meters at 53.02 seconds then down to 4 in 100 meters clocked in 1:48.30 wherein they contest at lane 1.
