Arun Sood is an Indian politician from Bharatiya Janata Party. He was elected as the 20th Mayor of Chandigarh in January 2016. He is the third person from the Bharatiya Janata Party to became the Mayor of Municipal Corporation Chandigarh after Kamla Sharma in 1997 and Shanta Hit Abhilashi in 2000. He was a member of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad. He is an advocate at Punjab and Haryana High Court.[1][2][3][4][5][6]
