Aryaman Vikram Birla Institute of Learning was established on 30 March 2004 by renowned industrialist Mr.B.K.Birla and Late Mrs. Sarla Birla. It is an English medium co-educational day school located in the pollution-free environs of Haldwani. It has a large campus of 15 acres and more than 80 teachers. School is ISO 9001:2008 (Quality Management System) and 14001:2004 (Environmental Management System) certified. The school functions from 0730 hours to 0200 hours and comprises classes Lower KG to XII. It is run by Prakash Education Society, a pioneer in the field of education. Our institution believes in the inculcation of right values with a firm focus on holistic development. Co-curricular activities
The choice of a varied programme in Socially Useful Productive Work and co-curricular activities is offered to the students. These activities help in developing the latent potential of a child and are therefore given a significant place in the school timetable. Students participate in various activities that include art & craft, extempore, debating, quizzing, elocution, poetic symposia, creative writing, and dramatics.

Adventure sports like hiking, mountaineering, trekking are periodically organised by the school. The school library stocks an exhaustive collection of books (fiction and non-fiction), dailies, journals and magazines along with CDs and DVDs for its students.
Computer-aided learning centres
There are two air-conditioned computer laboratories with 60 workstations in each of the laboratories for the junior and senior students. Internet facility with LAN connection is available round-the-clock. Audio-visual aids like LCD projectors, laptops and plasma TVs are extensively used in the audio-visual hall to make learning an interesting and enjoyable experience.
