Asif Chaudry
Dr Asif Chaudry is a British surgical oncologist with an interest in gastrointestinal cancer.
He was educated at Wadham College, Oxford where he was awarded a scholarship and qualified from Oxford University with distinction.
He is the editor of the Surgical Oncology (Oxford University Press)[1] EpCAM, in the Encyclopedia of Cancer (Springer).[2] Gastric and Oesophageal Surgery (Oxford University Press)
He chaired the cancer drug development sessions at the International Drug Discovery Science and Technology Conference, held in Xian, China in November 2007, Beijing, October 2008 and Shanghai 2009.[3][4] as well as the surgical oncology session at the World Cancer Congress, Singapore 2010.[5]
Chaudry is affiliated[6] and has worked on various relief projects with Doctors Worldwide.[7][8] He was one of the founders of the City Circle, Careers and Mentoring Project.[9][10]
He is the grandson of Chaudry Mohammad Aslam.
