Austin Robert Brice (born June 19, 1992) is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Miami Marlins of Major League Baseball (MLB).
Career
Brice was drafted by the Miami Marlins in the ninth round of the 2010 Major League Baseball draft out of Northwood High School in Pittsboro, North Carolina.[1] He made his professional debut that season with the Gulf Coast Marlins and also played 2011 there. In 2012 and 2013, he played for the Greensboro Grasshoppers.[2] Brice played for the Jupiter Hammerheads in 2014 and Jacksonville Suns in 2015. The Marlins added him to their 40-man roster after the 2015 season.[3] He started the 2016 with Jacksonville and was promoted to the New Orleans Zephyrs.
Brice was called up to the majors for the first time on August 9, 2016.[4]
