Background
In an interview with Billboard (magazine), Dillon says of the single, "[BEAT] is kind of about how when you listen to a song, you get put into a trance and you just can't help but dance... this one's got more of like a dark feel and the vocals are more my niche."[1]
Music video
In addition to the single, Dillon also released a music video for the track on his YouTube channel, which garnered more than a million views in its first week.[2] The video was directed by Andrew Vallentine.
