"Balalaika" (バラライカ Bararaika) is the second solo single of Morning Musume and Hello! Project member Koharu Kusumi, under the name of "Kirari Tsukishima starring Koharu Kusumi (Morning Musume)" (月島きらり starring 久住小春(モーニング娘。)). Tsukishima is a character in the anime series Kirarin Revolution that Kusumi is the voice of, and "Balalaika" is also used as the second opening theme song of the series. The second track on the single is "Mizuiro Melody". The limited first press edition of the single contains a special Kirarin Revolution card.
The title song was used as the second opening theme to the anime television series Kirarin Revolution (from October 2006 года, namely in episodes 27 to 51).
The CD single debuted at number 8 in the Oricon Weekly Singles Chart and spend there 23 weeks in total.[1][2]
The Single V version of "Balalaika" was released on 8 November 2006, two weeks after the CD single's release.
