Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP) (Bengali: BUP বাংলাদেশ ইউনিভার্সিটি অব প্রফেশনালস)is one of the newest public universities of the country established on 5 June 2008. It is the only public university in Bangladesh supported by the Armed Forces.
Faculties
There are five faculties and a center for higher studies and research:
- Faculty of Science & Technology (FST)
- Faculty of Security & Strategic Studies (FSSS)
- Faculty of Arts & Social Science (FASS)
- Faculty of Medical Studies (FMS)
- Faculty of General Studies (FGS)
- Faculty of Business Studies (FBS) and
- The Center for Higher Studies & Research (CHSR)
