Banknotes of the Jason Islands

Banknotes were issued for the Jason Islands in 1979 by the islands' owner, Len Hill, under the title of 'Administrator'. The Jason Islands are constitutionally a part of the Falkland Islands.

There were five denominations - 50 pence, 1 pound, 5 pounds, 10 pounds, and 20 pounds. They carry the clause 'VALID UNTIL 31 DECEMBER 1979' on the backs of the notes.
